Bangor Carnival Trades Procession Photographs, June 18, 1912
The Trades Procession of the Bangor Carnival featured nearly 150 floats and 600 horses. The Bangor Daily News and Bangor Daily Commercial reported that it was the largest parade in Bangor's history. The carnival, which was organized by the Bangor Chamber of Commerce, also involved cornerstone laying ceremonies at the new high school and library buildings, the first Bangor marathon, flights by aviator Harry Atwood, and the Ferari-Bostock circus.
