- Description
- In presenting this the first number of the INDEX, published by the pupils of the Bangor High School, we solicit the patronage of our friends and ask their co-operation, which will be essential to the success of our paper. The public has ever been ready to help us in all our undertakings, and we urge all our friends to subscribe for and advertise in our paper, which we will try hard to make instructive and entertaining. We will endeavor to bring the principal events which happen in school life, before the curious public, and thus help them remember their own school days, and let them see whether we have made any progress since the time they themselves were in the power of the school-master.
