- Description
- Photograph of the Bangor Cigar Manufacturing Co. parade float in the Bangor Carnival Trades Procession. "The B. C. M. Cigar company had a remarkable display one which would have done credit to a Broadway pageant, and on which all kinds of time and money must have been expended. The huge model of a cigar was up-held by the life-sized figures of two Indians; in the foreground were realistic Imitations of rocks, and enlarged tobacco plants. Reproductions, a hundred times life-size, of the cover of a B. C. M. cigar box, ran along the sides."--Bangor Daily News, June 19, 1912
