Dear Members of the Class of 1983: The 1983 edition of the ORACLE, your yearbook, provides a visual testimony of the various aspects of school life at Bangor High. As years pass, the 1983 ORACLE will bring into focus many memories of the three years you spent as part of the Bangor High School student body. As you re-read the ORACLE in times to come, you will remember your high school days, your contributions to the school, and the joys and sorrows of victories and defeats. As a class you have achieved many goals. As individuals many of you can be proud of the achievements and honors that you have brought to yourselves and to the school. For those who go on to higher education we hope that we have provided a sound foundation for further academic study. For those who plan to enter the work force, or to pursue some other goal, we hope that you will find yourselves well prepared to face today's world. We wish for each graduate the very best life can bring; we want for each, the realization of potential, strength of character, dedication to high physical and moral standards, good health and much happiness.
