- Principal’s Message: "The Oracle is in!" Each spring at Bangor High School, the arrival of the yearbook, the Oracle, is greeted with great anticipation and excitement. This, the 1980 edition, will not be an exception. What generates such excitement and enthusiasm? We believe the printed record, history if you will, of school life at Bangor High brings into focus the sum of the high school education experience. Underclassmen will review their accomplishments and follow their classmates through the pages. As principal, I congratulate our seniors on their enviable school record, their individual and class achievements and their contributions to Bangor High. On behalf of all the staff, I wish each member of the Class of 1980 all of life's greatest gifts: good health, happiness, self-satisfaction, and peace.
