Oracle Is Built On A Solid Foundation: Aristotle, an ancient Greek philosopher built many of his works around the three unities: time, place, and action. This year the Oracle staff is striving to bring these ideas into focus to provide a solid foundation on which to build an informative, yet pleasurable book for everyone. Following Aristotle's plan, the time: 1967-1968 school year, the, place: Bangor High, the action: the present. The 1967-1968 school year started off with much enthusiasm, as usual. There was excitement everywhere as students, faculty, and the entire city watched as the football team roared to an undefeated finish. Yet, the year was quite "typical" in many respects. The senior class staged a tireless dues campaign, measured for caps and gowns, wrote senior essays, and sponsored a fabulous prom. The underclasses proved themselves to be well on their way to promising futures throughout their high school careers.
