- Adron Johnson, trainer and coach of the Dow AFB Judo Club received the group's all-round outstanding judoist award from Lt. Col. James R. Wiley. Presentation was made before the team which represented Dow at the Eighth Air Force tournament at McDill AFB, Florida. Pictured left to right, team members are: Harold King, James Shaw, Frank Hughes, Elmer Maddocks, Johnson, John Bryan, Jesse Turner and Donald Davis. Not shown, behind Johnson, is Harry Asato. -- Page Eleven gives us the newest Dow arrivals, babies born to Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hasenbank; Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Sullivan; Mr. and Mrs. Byron Huber, and about a dozen other Dow personnel. -- the New Central Furniture Co. at 138 State Street held a "hog wild sale" .. 17 inch televisions on sale at $93.13
