- The Harvest: In the April 18th issue of the Bangor Daily Commercial, the following news item appeared: "The report cards for the third quarter were given out at the High school Wednesday. As usual there was a wailing and gnashing of teeth from the disappointed ones." This last sentence is very true, for as we all know, after the issuing of report cards there are many hard luck stories, complaints, and excuses, circulating through the school.
