- Hang on To the Music Department: Why should the students of Bangor High School be deprived of a chance to increase their musical abilities, an opportunity to enjoy orchestral and band music? Why should they be unable to present at graduation and the Junior Exhibition a musical program? The conditions of the finances of the School Department is a disgrace to the city of Bangor. The loss of the Music Department of the High School, caused by the City Government's not appropriating enough money to carry out the entire educational program, will be greatly felt in the future. The Music Department must remain in Bangor High School.
