- New Year's Resolutions: How often do we make a resolution, especially at New Year's, only to take this brand new resolution which has not even had a chance to show itself to the world and hurl it into oblivion with one relaxation of our will. Indeed the practice is so common as to need no comment. It is not of that kind of resolution that we would speak.
