Fighting with the Thunderbird Division he earned four battle stars; in Italy, Southern France, and the Rhineland. Wounded, November 1944. Later returned to combat. Killed in action in the Harz Mountains, Germany. Student at John Bapst High School. Engaged in aircraft construction. Hunter and fisherman. Purple Heart with oak-leaf cluster. 31352091
